Umamo
I'm working on Umamo(https://www.umamo.org/)! It's FOSS cross-platform rigging editor for 2D puppet animation built as a drop-in replacement for the Live2D Cubism Editor. It's fully compatible with Live2D's CMO3 and MOC3 file formats so it works within the existing Cubism market share. Live2D is the company that makes the editor and runtime for many game and vtuber(virtual YouTuber) applications. They have a monopoly on the market and I want to change that. Their application is slow, buggy, and a monthly paid subscription to keep using it along with perpetual licensing costs to use the runtime. Umamo is in the early alpha stage right now, but I'm planning for a Christmas release of an end user workable experience. I'm preparing the v0.3.0 release today. It's a big release that adds the full pipeline for ingesting layered artwork, texture atlas packing and editing, and more. https://github.com/umamoorg/umamo
