I use a lot of coding tools like claude, codex, cursor to code. As the scope of work we give these agents keep increasing, the agents keep running for longer and longer, sometimes for hours.... I hate keeping my laptop cracked open all the time, on the train, in the coffee shop... I also hate when the agent keeps interrupting my work when it needs to use the browser... I realized, all AI coding agents must run 100% in the cloud, but the tools available today don't make it very easy to do so..
