abeam
I've had it with my Chromecast and Apple TV, so I made https://github.com/onewolfmoon/abeam. It's open source, runs on Apple platforms, and does two things: 1. Play a YouTube video on a TV-connected Mac 2. Mirror a Mac or iPhone screen on a TV-connected Mac The senders need macOS 26 or iOS 27. The TV-connected Mac can be running macOS 13 and up, so it's a nice use for an older laptop. The apps are in app review now.
